When it boils down to it...I'm just a geek. On a typical day you'll find me puttering around my house doing any number of a bazillion projects I seem to have going on at any one time. Mowing the lawn while drinking crappy beer is fun. Being in the garden, covered in mud, is a blast. I'm always sporting some sort of home improvement injury. My favorite shows are always on PBS. Monday is veg in front of the TV night. With any luck, History Detectives or NOVA will be on. My hobbies are gardening and old cars. Nearly everything in my garden has been swiped from a friend's garden either by cutting or seed. In the winter I start everything early, ordering lots of seeds from catalogues. My old cars keep me busy too. Nearly all the work is done to them with the help of friends and shop manuals. If I'm not doing either of those, I'm probably doing something that involves beer, butter or bourbon. I'm not much of a shopper or a clubber. Bicycling, hiking, camping and road trips are more my speed. Shaving is put off until I absolutely have to. I'll take flannel and blue jeans over a suit any day. With a little work I clean up just fine. I live by the golden rule. Don't lie. Don't cheat. Don't steal. It's that easy. I'm a little naive in thinking everyone lives by the golden rule, which makes me trusting to a fault. But once I'm on to someone with less than savory behavior, it's smack-down...not tolerated.
